Essential references

Domaine de la Pépière

  • ‘Clisson’, at least two years on the lees: At La Pépière, the crus communaux introduce several origins within Muscadet. ‘Clisson’, born at the estate in 2005, stays on its lees for at least two years, the yeast deposit resulting from fermentation: the wine waits in the cellar before release.
  • A prepared succession: Marc Ollivier prepared the next chapter with Rémi Branger, then Gwénaëlle Croix, who arrived after an internship at the estate. When he retired in 2020, his partners took charge. The handover was therefore built with those already working alongside him.
