One zone, two regional lessons
- Barossa Valley: The generally warmer, lower region provides the main route into generous Shiraz and historic Grenache and Mataro vineyards.
- Eden Valley: The generally higher, cooler region adds dry Riesling and distinctive Shiraz. High Eden is a registered subregion within Eden Valley.
- Read the bottle: Barossa is the zone containing both Barossa Valley and Eden Valley regions. A Barossa label gives a broader origin; it does not prove that the wine blends fruit from both regions.
